Education

The Nova Scotia Real Estate Appraisers Association, through its Affiliation Agreement with the Appraisal Institute of Canada, is responsible for the presentation of AIC’s educational courses and seminars in the Province of Nova Scotia.  Currently, the educational courses required for the designations Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute (AACI) and Canadian Residential Appraiser (CRA) are offered as distance learning courses through the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia.

 

CRA

The CRA designation denotes members who are qualified in the appraisal and valuation of individual, undeveloped residential dwelling sites, and dwellings containing not more that four self-contained housing units.
